How to create Ecommerce WordPress Website

If you're new to website building, WordPress + WooCommerce is one of the most beginner-friendly ways to create an online store. You don't need programming knowledge, and you can have a basic shop running in a few hours.

What You'll Need

Before you start, you'll need:

  • A domain name (e.g., www.mystore.com)

  • Web hosting that supports WordPress

  • WordPress installed (many hosting providers offer one-click installation)

Step 1: Install WordPress

Most hosting providers have a one-click installer.

General steps:

  1. Log in to your hosting account.

  2. Open the WordPress installer.

  3. Choose your domain.

  4. Set your:

    • Website name

    • Admin username

    • Password

    • Email

  5. Click Install.

After installation, log in to your WordPress dashboard:

https://yourdomain.com/wp-admin

Step 2: Choose and Install a Theme

A theme controls your website's appearance.
