🚀 WORDPRESS PLAYGROUND – STEP-BY-STEP PRACTICE GUIDE
🔹 STEP 1: Open WordPress Playground
👉 Go to:
https://playground.wordpress.net
You’ll see a fresh WordPress site load in your browser.
💡 This is a temporary sandbox — if you refresh, everything resets (which is great for practice).
🔹 STEP 2: Understand What You’re Seeing
On screen you’ll see:
Frontend website (your site)
WordPress admin already installed
To open admin:
➡ Add /wp-admin to the URL
➡ Login automatically (no password needed)
🔹 STEP 3: First-Time Dashboard Tour
In Dashboard, explore:
Posts
Pages
Appearance
Plugins
Settings
👉 Don’t rush. Click everything once.
🔹 STEP 4: Create Your First Pages (DO THIS)
Go to:
Pages → Add New
Create these pages:
Home
About Us
Courses
Contact
✔ Add heading text
✔ Add paragraph text
✔ Add an image (Media → Upload)
Click Publish on each.
🔹 STEP 5: Set Homepage (IMPORTANT)
Go to:
Settings → Reading
Select A static page
Homepage → Home
Save Changes
Now your Home page is live.

Go to:
Appearance → Menus
Create new menu → “Main Menu”

After install → Activate.

Go to:
Pages → Home → Edit with Elementor
Practice:

✔ Add Text Editor
✔ Add Button (WhatsApp CTA)
✔ Add Image
Try:

Don’t aim for perfection — explore.
🔹 STEP 10: Create Contact Form
Go to:
Contact → Add New
Add Name, Email, Message
Save
Copy shortcode
Paste shortcode into Contact page → Update

Build this inside Playground:

Because Playground resets, export your site:
Go to:
Tools → Export → All Content
Download file → keep it safe.
Later you can import it anywhere.
