Electricity 

India is land of rich culture and heritage. After independence lt started to flourish with lots of development. Earlier life started with sunrise and rested with sunset.

Then Slowly people had Single tungsten bulb and people started using it
 For better life. 
1 bulb
 (40,60,100 watts)~ 
Monthly Charges about 
(Rs.60 ~120/-)
Which gradually went upto

 2 tube lights and one fan.
Monthly charges went upto 
(Rs.160/- ~200/-)

Slowly Radio and T.V. was also introduce which also increased consumption and rise in monthly bills reflected. 

With limited supply and consumption it was well managed.
Life was going well with it.

Introduction of very much kitchen appliances also ease the life. 
Mixy and grinder, Toaster, blender (boss) occasionally increased the consumption and reflected bill.

Water gyser and water pump also added the charm to life. In situations specially morning if gyser and Mixy or T.V.and Mixy were used People used to experience Electric fuse cut.

Then Refrigerator, followed by Washing machine. Life started with more demand less supply. 

There was weekly 8~12 hours power cut and Load shedding. People used to manage work according to power supply. In summer season Fans and Cooler use increase beyond limits.

In late 90s somewhere around 
1997 onwards introduction of Computers in Indian homes.

Computer required dust free environment. This give push to 
Air conditioner AC. 

Now consumption of electricity  shooted up. Offices started using Computers and AC  water cooler purifers and coffee machines. 

Schools and Banks and many other organisation started using in day time. Also office started working nights. People started to tamper meters and steal and many other tactics to reduce bill. In summer now situation went miserable. 

So power cut and load shedding was experience at night and early morning for about 2 hours then supply for hour and then 2 hours load shedding. Now situation went for daily load shedding. 

Now just Imagine situation 
 1 bulb in one house. 
 1 bulb x 4 house.
 1 bulb x 12 (1 building)
 1 bulb x city
Leading to district and state.

Now move next level 

2light and fan from one house to state.

Scalability of usage and optimum supply.

 Now we are moving to Automations. Robotics. Electric vehicles, solar and renewable energy. 

People worrying about electric bills so high should also this economics. Try to use electricity in odd time will reduce bills

 also understand there Fix use of electricity in every house at same time. 

Lifts , Elevator, street lights, shops 
Railway , industries also require it.

Used is less between 
(roughly estimate)
12.00  to 6.00 night
 9.30 to 11.30 morning 

Like water save Electricity also.
